PWS In Person Chocolate & Whiskey Pairing
Dry January Option Available! (read below)
Wednesday, January 24 at 7 pm in Center City!
@Industrious 901 Market St, 3rd Floor (inside Fashion District Mall)

Hey PWS! Get ready for a real treat! Literally!

Good Good Chocolates’ Chocolatier, Lisa Schoenbeck, tasted her way through six PWS barrel picked whiskeys to pair with some of her amazing confectionary creations which look nearly good as they taste!

Below the ticket link are the six brilliantly flavorful pairings of chocolate confections and PWS barrel picked American whiskeys that we will be enjoying in person with Lisa on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 7 pm in our newest and nicest meeting space to date at Industrious, Fashion District, 901 Market Street, 3rd Floor, Philadelphia 19107

Attendance is $35 per person.

Additional packs of 5 chocolates can be pre purchased for $15 so you can try your own pairings at home.

(It is anticipated that Lisa may make available for purchase some more pieces at the event as well).

Tickets for the event and to pre-purchase extra packs of 5 Good Good Chocolates can be purchased. There is also a "Dry January" option with Coffee/Tea/Cocoa instead of Whiskey!

Pairing Menu:

Bulleit Bourbon/Strawberry Yuzu

Fragrant yuzu infused with white chocolate and paired with very special chocolate made from strawberries.

(Do you like strawberries? The bourbon brought to mind red berries when we tasted it and when it was received. This pick has been out of circulation for quite a while now)

Dad’s Hat Strongman’s Rye/

Xtra Dark Chocolate

70% Dark smooth dark chocolate

(BIG flavor, meet BIG flavor.)

Blue Note/Matcha Litchi (lychee)

Grassy matcha infused in white chocolate layered upon litchi infused in white chocolate

(Just try it! Esoteric and complex teasing of the tastebuds with a nice, solid bourbon that pleases the palate without distracting from enjoying the flavors of the confection. This bottle went fast, though some still may have a bit left on the shelves)

Stellum Bourbon/Raspberry Milk Chocolate

Raspberry pate de fruit, raspberry infused white chocolate, layered upon creamy milk chocolate

(This is just insane. Does this smooth, easy whiskey bring down the intense sweetness on the tongue via a gentle melding of flavors, or does it take the intense sweetness up a notch?)

Old Line Spirits Tawny Port/Caramel Almond

Buttery caramel & house made almond praline

(Rich fruity, caramel and nutty whiskey meets a complimentary match. Expect a cascade of intense pleasing flavors! And this is among the last of The Jammer bottles in the PWS whiskey collection)

Manatawny Double Peated ASM/Coffee Cardamom

Brewed espresso in milk chocolate layered upon cardamom infused white chocolate.

(The pairing of a rich, high proof peated ASM that drinks like a peated Highlands Scotch called for an extraordinary confection with rich flavors and this is GOOD, GOOD CHOCOLATE!)
