Three Tier PWS Bottle Share Explained
- Bartender will be pouring all whiskey
- All pricing is based on secondary
- Everyone must bring a Tier 1 bottle and if you choose you can participate in the other two tiers. To drink bottles in a specific tier, you must contribute a bottle to that tier.
- Folks must register what they are bringing so we don't end up with duplicates of the same thing
- Use this as reference as to the secondary values of bottles: https://thebourbonculture.com/whiskey-info/the-bourbon-brown-book-2024-edition/
**You cannot just bring a Tier 3 bottle and drink Tier 2 and vice versa**
**Everyone must bring a Tier 1 bottle**
Tier Values:
Tier 1: $60 to $200
Tier 2: $200 to $500
Tier 3: $500 and UP
*based on secondary values*
Answers to some common questions:
1. Open bottles are welcome as long as they are at least 1/3 full.
2. There will be a designated pour person who will pour half ounce pours for everyone so nobody overpours your precious whiskey!
3. Bottles can be opened and should be at least 1/3 full.
4. Don't worry, usually more than 100 bottles show up so it is RARE that your bottle will be finished unless you are bringing a nearly empty bottle.
5. If a bottle is nearly finished, the owner has the right to save the last couple drams for himself.
6. For the top tier bottles, we usually have all the high end bottles show up, most likely your bottle won't be the most expensive there, plus there's a person pouring for everyone so don't worry about people drinking all your whiskey!
